- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Meatballs:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Make the Sauce:
- In a medium bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, soy sauce, and brown sugar until well combined.
- Combine in the Slow Cooker:
- Place the meatballs in the slow cooker and pour the pineapple barbecue sauce over them, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Cook:
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Serve:
- Once cooked, serve the meatballs hot, garnished with chopped green onions or sesame seeds, if desired. Enjoy over rice, in a sandwich, or as appetizers!
