Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet until it sizzles and no pink remains; season with salt and pepper. Drain briefly.
- Stir the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar into the beef while it’s hot so the cheese melts slightly. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Roll out the biscuit dough on a floured surface and cut it into 8–10 circles.
Assembly
- Place a spoonful of the warm beef mixture in the center of each dough circle.
- Fold the dough over and pinch to seal tightly, ensuring no gaps.
- Arrange the bombs on the baking sheet. Brush lightly with melted butter if desired.
Cooking
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until the pastry puffs and edges turn golden brown.
- Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
These bombs are great for meal prep or game day snacking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge. Freeze unbaked bombs for up to 2 months.
