Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sifted flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk to break up any lumps.
Mixing
  1. In another large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well blended. Add the eggs and stir in the vanilla until smooth.
  2. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Allow the brownies to cool completely on a wire rack.
Pudding Preparation
  1. While the brownies cool, whisk together instant pudding mix and milk until thickened. Fold in the whipped cream.

  1. Spread the pudding mixture over the cooled brownies.

Notes

For a lighter brownie texture, don’t overmix the batter. You can add a tablespoon of Nutella for an extra chocolaty flavor.
