  • 2.75 cups cold whole milk
Cream Cheese Filling
  • 1 package cream cheese 8 oz, softened
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz can
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Whipped Cream
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract for additional flavor
Layers
  • 1 box Nilla Wafers about 11 oz
  • 4-5 pieces ripe bananas sliced
  • optional crushed Nilla Wafers for garnish
  • optional extra banana slices for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Set aside in the fridge for 10 minutes.
Make the Cream Cheese Filling
  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, and beat until combined. Fold in the prepared vanilla pudding.
Whip the Cream
  1. Chill your mixing bowl, then beat the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Reserve half of this whipped cream for topping, and fold the other half into the pudding mixture.
Assemble the Layers
  1. In a 9x13 inch glass dish or trifle bowl, layer Nilla Wafers, banana slices, and the pudding-cream cheese mixture. Repeat the layers and finish with a layer of whipped cream on top. Garnish with crushed Nilla Wafers and banana slices if desired.
Chill and Serve
  1. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Serve chilled.
