For the Rolls

  • 8 oz Cream cheese Chilled for better filling consistency.
  • 2 tbsp Sugar For the cream cheese filling.
  • 1 cup Blueberries Fresh or frozen.
  • 1/4 cup Flour For the streusel topping.
For the Streusel Topping
  • 2 tbsp Cold butter Cut into small pieces.
  • 1/4 cup Sugar

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough onto the prepared baking sheet, separating it into 8 triangles.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy, then gently fold in the blueberries.
  4. Spoon approximately 1/4 cup of the filling onto each crescent triangle, spreading it slightly along the length of the dough.
  5. Starting from the wider end, roll up each crescent triangle, tucking in the edges to seal the filling inside.
  6. In another bowl, mix flour, cold butter, and sugar together with a fork or pastry cutter until crumbly.
Baking
  1. Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the filled crescent rolls.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and set.

Notes

Pro Tips: Use chilled cream cheese for better filling consistency, avoid overcrowding the baking sheet, and allow rolls to cool slightly before serving. Variations: Mix berries or add chocolate chips to the filling.
