  • 1 pkg Refrigerated crescent rolls This provides a flaky, buttery base.
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Soften this first for a smooth filling.
  • 1 cup Blueberries Use fresh or high-quality frozen blueberries.
  • 2 tbsp Sugar For the filling.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract Enhances flavor.
For the streusel topping
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour Essential for creating the streusel topping.
  • 2 tbsp Cold butter Helps achieve a crumbly texture.
  • 2 tbsp Sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough onto the prepared baking sheet, separating it into 8 triangles.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries until evenly distributed.
  5. Spoon approximately 1/4 cup of the filling onto each crescent triangle and roll them up from the wider end, tucking in the edges.
  6. In another bowl, combine the flour, cold butter, and sugar for the streusel topping, mixing until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the filled crescent rolls.
Baking
  1. Place the rolls in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the filling is set.

Notes

Bring ingredients to room temperature for a better blend. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain texture.
