Ingredients

For the cream cheese mixture
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened) Ensure it's nice and soft for easy blending.
  • ½ cup powdered sugar To add that delightful sweetness.
  • 1 cup whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream) For that light and fluffy texture.
For the topping
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade) The star of the show, bringing rich flavor!
  • 2 medium apples (diced or sliced for dipping) Crisp and fresh, choose your favorite variety!
  • 2 tbsp crushed pecans (optional, for garnish) Adds a lovely crunch if you like.
For serving
  • as needed Graham crackers (pretzels or extra apple slices for serving) Perfect dippers to scoop up all the goodness!

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, start by beating the softened cream cheese until it turns smooth and creamy.
  2. Slowly add the powdered sugar, mixing until it’s all well combined and sweet.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in a shallow serving dish.
  5. Pour the caramel sauce over the top, letting it drizzle generously.
  6. Sprinkle the diced apples and crushed pecans (if using) on top.
  7. Chill the dip in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make the cream cheese mixture a day ahead to let it chill overnight for better flavor. If the dip feels too runny, chill it longer to firm up. Try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor.
