Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the apples soften.
- Peel off each biscuit and flatten them in your hand to create a little cup.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture and a piece of caramel candy in the center of each dough round. Fold the dough over to seal the filling inside.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freeze wrapped for up to a month! Reheat in a warm oven for 10 minutes. Try crumbling over yogurt or oatmeal for breakfast!
