Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with a little butter.
- In a small bowl, whisk melted butter and minced garlic until fragrant.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into small squares.
Assembly
- Dip each dough square into the garlic-butter mixture and layer them in the baking dish in the shape of a Christmas tree.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese and grated Parmesan as you layer, adding fresh herbs between layers.
Baking
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm with marinara or pesto.
Notes
Use pre-shredded cheese to save time, but freshly shredded melts better. If the center seems underdone, tent with foil and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes. For added flavor, stir pesto into the butter mixture or add red pepper flakes for a kick.
