Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and chives (if using). Mix until creamy and well combined.
  4. Season the mixture with garlic powder, onion powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  5. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms together. Place the bottom halves into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Generously spoon the creamy chicken mixture over the bottom halves, spreading it evenly.
  7. Place the top halves of the buns over the chicken mixture.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with a pinch of garlic powder. Brush over the tops of the slider buns.
Baking
  1. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  3. Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing them apart.

Notes

For time-saving, use store-bought rotisserie chicken. To enhance creaminess, add a splash of milk if cheese isn't melting well. Consider adding jalapeños for a spicy kick or using buffalo sauce instead of ranch dressing for a twist.
