Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and chives (if using). Mix until creamy and well combined.
- Season the mixture with garlic powder, onion powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms together. Place the bottom halves into the prepared baking dish.
- Generously spoon the creamy chicken mixture over the bottom halves, spreading it evenly.
- Place the top halves of the buns over the chicken mixture.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with a pinch of garlic powder. Brush over the tops of the slider buns.
Baking
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing them apart.
Notes
For time-saving, use store-bought rotisserie chicken. To enhance creaminess, add a splash of milk if cheese isn't melting well. Consider adding jalapeños for a spicy kick or using buffalo sauce instead of ranch dressing for a twist.
