Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Lightly grease a 9-inch square baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, stir together the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream.
- Spread half of the chicken mixture into the baking dish.
- Sprinkle half of the grated cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture.
- Add the remaining chicken mixture, followed by the rest of the cheese.
- Top with the crushed crackers.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and bubbling.
- Let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a veggie boost, consider adding steamed broccoli or cooked mushrooms. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
