Method
 

Preparation
  1. Choose a large, flat board or cleared table and spread a linen runner.
  2. Set bowls and plates where dips and olives will sit, ensuring the space feels open.
Assembling the Board
  1. Place cheese in one area; keep brie whole and slice cheddar and gouda.
  2. Arrange cured meats in another section, folding prosciutto and fanning salami slices.
  3. Tuck fresh fruits along the edges and scatter dried fruits in the gaps.
  4. Sprinkle toasted nuts around the board.
  5. Place olives in small bowls.
  6. Add assorted bread and crackers nearby.
  7. Fit colorful vegetables and chosen dips into the remaining spaces.
Finishing Touches
  1. Garnish with sprigs of rosemary and thyme, plus a light grinding of black pepper over the cheese.
