  • to taste green sanding sugar Because every holiday treat needs a touch of sparkle!

Method

Preparation
  1. Unwrap the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Using a handheld mixer, mix the cakes until they crumble beautifully, creating a soft, dough-like texture.
  3. Add in the festive sprinkles and mix until combined.
  4. Scoop about a tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball. Set them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat until all the dough is shaped into truffles.
Coating
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt the white chocolate or candy melts until smooth and glossy.
  2. Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated, then let the excess drip off.
  3. Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined sheet.
Decoration
  1. Melt the red candy melts in a piping or ziplock bag and drizzle over the coated truffles.
  2. Sprinkle the green sanding sugar over the drizzled chocolate for a festive look.
  3. Refrigerate the truffles for a few minutes to set before serving.

Notes

Store the truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. They can be frozen for about a month. Consider crumbling a few truffles on top of ice cream for a fun twist.
