Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth and glossy.
- Add in the egg, honey, and vanilla extract, whisking until everything is combined.
- Gently stir in the flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon until just combined.
- Prepare the baking pan by pouring the batter into it and smoothing it out with a spatula.
- In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and the remaining ½ teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle it over the batter.
Baking
- Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let them cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
These blondies are perfect for any occasion. Serve warm from the oven, or enjoy them with ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
