  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar for topping Because more is always better!

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into your greased pan and spread it out evenly.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the 1/4 cup of granulated sugar with an extra teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle it over the batter.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Let the blondies cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze them wrapped well in foil for about three months.
