Ingredients

Dough and Topping
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 4 tbsp melted unsalted butter Use unsalted butter to control the salt
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon Add more if you like it extra cozy
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Optional, for added warmth
  • a pinch salt
  • Optional: icing (powdered sugar + milk)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together to form a single round pizza crust. Fold the edges slightly to create a crust border.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla (if using), and a pinch of salt. Spread this mixture evenly over the dough.
  4. In another bowl, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the dough.
  5. If there are leftover dough pieces, cut them into small shapes and place them decoratively on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the sugars bubble.
  2. Cool slightly, slice into wedges, and enjoy warm. Drizzle with icing if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 24 hours at room temperature or 2–3 days in the fridge. Reheat gently in a 300°F oven for 5–7 minutes.
