Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Grease or line a mini muffin tin.
- In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gently unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half.
- Firmly press each triangle half into the muffin cups.
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into each dough cup, followed by another teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
- If desired, sprinkle some chopped pecans or orange zest on top.
Baking
- Bake in the oven for 11-13 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
You can prepare the cream cheese mixture a day ahead. Store it in the fridge until ready to assemble the bites. Don't overfill the cups — a little goes a long way with these flavors.
