  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Melts into gooey bliss.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese Adds sharp, nutty flavor.
  • 1 cup sour cream Tangy and silky.
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup The creamy backbone of the dish.
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder For warm depth.
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder For sweet, subtle savory notes.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste Go easy due to bacon and soup.
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish) Brightens the plate and flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package directions, then drain and shake off the water well.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until silky and well blended.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and half of the cheeses, stirring until coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, smooth the top and sprinkle the remaining cheese and crumbled bacon.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a veggie boost, add steamed broccoli or spinach. Save time using rotisserie chicken. For different textures, sprinkle panko before baking.
