Ingredients
  

For the dough
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Use unsalted to control the saltiness
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For coating
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar For coating
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For coating

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bring the water, butter, and 1 tablespoon sugar to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Stir in the flour and salt until the mixture forms a ball.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  4. When the dough has cooled slightly, beat in the eggs one at a time.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spoon the dough into a piping bag and pipe small bites onto parchment paper.
  3. Place the piped bites into the air fryer basket, give them a light spray with cooking spray.
  4. Air fry for 10-12 minutes.
  5. While they’re still warm, mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and coat the churro bites thoroughly.
Serving
  1. Serve warm and indulge in the cozy flavors.

Notes

Want to save time? You can make the dough ahead of time and keep it in the fridge for a day! If you accidentally make the dough too thick, just add a touch more water or an extra egg to loosen it up. Try adding a hint of cocoa powder for a chocolatey twist!
