Preparation
- Bring the water, butter, and 1 tablespoon sugar to a boil in a saucepan.
- Stir in the flour and salt until the mixture forms a ball.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- When the dough has cooled slightly, beat in the eggs one at a time.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spoon the dough into a piping bag and pipe small bites onto parchment paper.
- Place the piped bites into the air fryer basket, give them a light spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes.
- While they’re still warm, mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and coat the churro bites thoroughly.

Notes
Want to save time? You can make the dough ahead of time and keep it in the fridge for a day! If you accidentally make the dough too thick, just add a touch more water or an extra egg to loosen it up. Try adding a hint of cocoa powder for a chocolatey twist!
