Preparation
- Pour some flour into a shallow bowl.
- Lightly dredge each slice of bacon in the flour, ensuring both sides are coated. Shake off excess flour.
- Lay the floured bacon on a parchment-lined baking sheet, using parchment paper between layers if necessary.
- Cover the bacon with beeswax wrap or another piece of parchment and refrigerate overnight.
Cooking
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the chilled bacon on a fresh parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes.
- Flip the bacon and continue baking for another 5–7 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb extra grease and serve warm.
Notes
For storage, keep cooked bacon in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for 2–3 months. Add seasoning to the flour for extra flavor.
