Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts Use fresh, high-quality chicken for the best flavor and texture.
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix Choose a classic brand for robust flavor.
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs These provide an extra crunch; don’t substitute with regular breadcrumbs.
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Adds a savory depth to the dish.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Using unsalted allows for better control of saltiness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly distributed.
  3. Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper to enhance flavor.
  4. Dip each chicken strip into melted butter, coating evenly on all sides.
  5. Press each chicken strip into the breadcrumb mixture for thorough coverage.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the coated chicken on the baking sheet and drizzle any remaining butter over the top.
  2. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  3. For an extra crispy finish, broil on high for 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the pan for even cooking, and use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
