Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your favorite cake pan.

Baking
  1. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until golden color and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Notes

If short on time, soften butter in the microwave, but don't melt it. For a unique flavor, add chocolate chips, nuts, or lemon zest to the batter.
