Ingredients
  

Pistachio Spread
  • 2 cups raw pistachios 250g
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 50 g white chocolate (melted) optional for creaminess
  • 1/2 tsp matcha powder optional for color
  • 2 tbsp butter or coconut oil optional
Coating
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded coconut 150g
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (melted) 200g
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 10 pieces strawberries

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by washing the strawberries and drying them thoroughly.
Prepare the Pistachio Spread
  1. In a food processor, blend the raw pistachios and salt until they turn into a creamy paste. This should take a few minutes.
  2. If using melted white chocolate and matcha powder, add them to the pistachio paste and blend until fully combined.
Assembly
  1. Dip each strawberry into the pistachio spread, ensuring they are well-coated.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Dip the pistachio-coated strawberries into the melted dark chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle shredded coconut over the top.
  5. Let the dipped strawberries set on a parchment-lined baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes.
Serving
  1. Once set, serve the Dubai Chocolate Strawberries fresh.

Notes

For freshness, enjoy the strawberries within 3 days when stored in the fridge. They can be frozen for up to a month in an airtight container. Avoid microwaving to preserve chocolate texture.
