  • 1 cup Bisquick mix This is the magic base that makes everything easy and delicious.
  • 3/4 cup milk Whole or skim—whatever you have will work just fine!
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted Salted butter adds a lovely richness, but unsalted will do too.
Peach Filling
  • 29 ounce can sliced peaches, well drained You can use fresh peaches if they're in season, too!
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar Feel free to adjust to your sweetness preference.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon A warm hug of flavor that perfectly complements the peaches.
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg A dash of nutmeg adds a warm, earthy tone.
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt Just a pinch to balance out the sweetness.
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract Vanilla is like the cherry on top—so luscious!
Serving Suggestions

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (about 175°C) and place the rack in the middle position.
  2. Spray a 9x9 inch glass baking dish with nonstick baking spray.
Making the Batter
  1. In the baking dish, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, and melted butter until you have a smooth batter.
Mixing the Peaches
  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla.
Combining and Baking
  1. Pour the peach mixture into the batter and gently spread it around.
  2. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until the top is light golden brown and a bit jiggly in the center.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Remove the cobbler from the oven and let it sit for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can make this cobbler ahead of time. It tastes even better the next day. If the batter is too thick, add a splash more milk. Consider adding blueberries for an extra twist.
