Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into rectangles about the size of your palm.
- Add a spoonful of pizza sauce and a handful of mozzarella to each piece, then sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Add optional fillings if desired, taking care not to overfill.
- Fold over each pocket and press the edges with a fork to seal.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
Baking
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Serve with warm marinara for dipping.
Notes
For best results, serve warm right out of the oven. Keep a tray near the oven to catch the pockets and maintain their crisp texture.
