Method
Preparation of Filling
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until it’s light and fluffy for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until it’s smooth and lump-free.
Whipping Cream
- In a separate chilled bowl, whip the very cold heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
Preparing the Fruits
- Slice the strawberries, chop the green apples into bite-sized chunks, and halve the grapes.
- Drain the pineapple well and slice the bananas right before assembly.
Assembling the Dessert
- Spread half of the mixed fruit evenly across the bottom of a clear serving dish.
- Spoon half of the cheesecake filling over the fruits, then repeat with the remaining fruit and cheesecake filling.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top layer and sprinkle graham cracker crumbs around the edges.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
This dessert is flexible! Pre-slice your fruits and prepare the filling hours ahead of time. If the whipped cream isn't reaching stiff peaks, ensure your cream is very cold. For a unique twist, try adding almond extract instead of vanilla.
