Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup Almond Flour Great gluten-free alternative; it adds a nutty flavor!
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Flour Helps absorb moisture and gives a subtle sweetness.
  • 3/4 cup Cocoa Powder The star of the show! Choose unsweetened for the richest taste.
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup Dairy-Free Chocolate Chips or Dark Chocolate (70% Cocoa) For that perfect chocolatey goodness.
  • 2 Eggs (Room Temperature) They’ll help bind everything beautifully.
  • 1/2 cup Butter, Coconut Oil, or Plant-Based Butter Adds that rich, creamy texture.
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract A touch of warmth that makes everything better.
  • 1/4 cup Almond Milk (if using) Adds moisture; feel free to skip if preferred.
  • 1/4 cup Sweetener (Optional: Monk Fruit Sweetener or Honey) Adjust based on your taste for that extra sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F for an 8x8 inch pan or 325°F for a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Line your baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  3. Melt your chocolate and butter slowly either using a double boiler or the microwave and let it chill a bit before mixing.
  4. Whisk together the wet ingredients: eggs, melted chocolate and butter, vanilla extract, and any liquid sweeteners or milk.
  5. Sift the dry ingredients: almond flour, coconut flour, and cocoa powder into a bowl.
  6. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mix.
  7. Spread the rich batter evenly in your prepared pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes for an 8x8 inch pan, or 35-40 minutes for a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Use the toothpick test to check for doneness; it should come out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Let the brownies cool completely before cutting.
  2. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

Notes

Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature or freeze individual pieces. For a fresh-baked texture, reheating in a warm oven is recommended. You can also crumble them over yogurt or mix them into a parfait.
