Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F for an 8x8 inch pan or 325°F for a 9x13 inch pan.
- Line your baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Melt your chocolate and butter slowly either using a double boiler or the microwave and let it chill a bit before mixing.
- Whisk together the wet ingredients: eggs, melted chocolate and butter, vanilla extract, and any liquid sweeteners or milk.
- Sift the dry ingredients: almond flour, coconut flour, and cocoa powder into a bowl.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mix.
- Spread the rich batter evenly in your prepared pan.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes for an 8x8 inch pan, or 35-40 minutes for a 9x13 inch pan.
- Use the toothpick test to check for doneness; it should come out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
Cooling and Serving
- Let the brownies cool completely before cutting.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
Notes
Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature or freeze individual pieces. For a fresh-baked texture, reheating in a warm oven is recommended. You can also crumble them over yogurt or mix them into a parfait.
