Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups Ritz Bits crackers (cheese or peanut butter variety)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted Use unsalted butter so you can control the salt.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Fresh garlic gives it that extra flavor boost!
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Because, really, who can resist a sprinkle of cheese?

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, pour in the Ritz Bits and slowly pour the buttery mixture over the crackers.
  4. Toss gently to ensure each cracker is coated evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the coated crackers and toss again.
  6. Spread the coated Ritz Bits onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  8. Once golden and slightly crisp, let them cool completely before serving.

Notes

You can prepare the butter mixture ahead of time and store it in the fridge. Give it a quick reheat before tossing with the Ritz Bits. For extra crunch, give them an extra minute in the oven if needed. Want to spice things up? Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or swap the Parmesan for your favorite cheese blend!
