Ingredients
  

1 lb ground chicken (lean or regular)

2 medium potatoes (diced or grated)

1 tbsp olive oil (or any preferred cooking oil)

½ cup onion (finely chopped)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tsp paprika (adds smokiness)

½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

¼ tsp black pepper (freshly ground for best flavor)

1 tsp Italian seasoning (or your favorite spice blend)

½ cup chicken broth (optional, for added moisture)

½ cup cheese (optional – cheddar, mozzarella, or parmesan)

2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Ingredients
    Wash and dice (or grate) the potatoes.Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.If using cheese, shred it and set aside.
  • Cook the Ground Chicken
    Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.Add ground chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon, until no longer pink.
  • Add Vegetables and Seasonings
    Stir in onions and garlic, cooking for 2 minutes until fragrant.Add diced potatoes, paprika, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  • Simmer the Mixture
    Pour in ½ cup chicken broth (if using) to keep the mixture moist.Cover and cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
  • Add Cheese (Optional) & Garnish
    If using cheese, sprinkle it on top and let it melt for 2 minutes.Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
