Preparation
- Crumble the Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes into a large bowl.
- Add the softened cream cheese and vanilla (if using). Mix with a wooden spoon or your hands until the crumbs hold together. The mixture should be moist but firm.
- Scoop out small portions and roll into 1-inch balls, ensuring they are smooth and neat.
Coating
- Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 20-second bursts and stirring until silky and smooth.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Tap off excess and set on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- If desired, sprinkle festive sprinkles on the truffles before the coating sets.
Chilling
- Refrigerate the truffles until firm, about 30–60 minutes.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days. For freezing, place the truffles on a tray until firm, then transfer to a freezer bag for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge before serving. Consider rolling them in crushed peppermint or adding spices for a flavor twist.
