  • 1 cup Cheddar or American cheese Creamy and melty!

Method
 

Cooking the Mixture
  1. In a hot skillet, cook the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper for about 5 minutes until browned.
  2. Drain any excess fat, then add in the crumbled bacon and drizzle the maple syrup over the mixture.
  3. Stir gently until everything is beautifully coated.
Assembling the Quesadillas
  1. Lay tortillas flat and sprinkle cheese on half of each, followed by a layer of the beef and bacon mixture, then top with more cheese.
  2. Fold the tortillas over and pinch the edges.
Cooking the Quesadillas
  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and place the quesadillas in the pan.
  2. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden-brown.
  3. Let them rest for 1-2 minutes before slicing into wedges.

Notes

You can prepare the beef and bacon mixture ahead of time. For a spicy kick, swap out cheddar for pepper jack. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
