Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing (high-quality or homemade) Use thick, flavorful dressing for best results.
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese Grated Parmesan melts more evenly.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish large enough to hold the chicken in a single layer.
  2. Lay the chicken breasts flat in the prepared dish; if any are thick, pound or butterfly them to even thickness.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper until smooth and slightly thick.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken, spreading it to ensure each breast gets a good, even coat.
Cooking
  1. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes; the internal temperature should read 165°F (74°C).
  2. For a golden top, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end, watching closely to prevent burning.
Serving
  1. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes; garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Time-saver: Pound chicken ahead and refrigerate. Taste your dressing first to avoid over-salting. For a variation, add smoked paprika or swap basil for fresh thyme.
