  • 3 large eggs Adds richness.
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional) Adds a touch of sweetness.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances flavors.
  • Honey or powdered sugar for serving Perfect finishing touch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter in the milk until it starts to bubble and gently boil. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in the flour and a pinch of salt, mixing until it transforms into a smooth dough that pulls away from the sides of the pan.
  4. Let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes, then beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  5. If desired, stir in the optional tablespoon of sugar.
Baking
  1. Spoon the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about halfway.
  2. Bake for 30–35 minutes until puffed up and golden brown.

Notes

For a time-saving trick, prep the batter in advance and keep it in the fridge for a few hours before baking. If the puffs don't rise as expected, ensure your oven is fully preheated. For flavor variations, consider adding vanilla extract or lemon zest to the batter.
