Preparation
- Line a small ovenproof baking pan with baking paper and spray it with oil.
- Preheat your air fryer or oven to 320°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, whisk the egg into the mashed banana, and then mix in the brown sugar, oil, and milk.
- Add the flour, baking soda, and salt; mix until just combined. If desired, fold in any optional mix-ins.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the air fryer for 30–35 minutes or in the oven for 25 minutes, until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
