Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Trim the ends of the green beans and put them in a big mixing bowl.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the beans, then toss them so every pod glistens.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder if using, and toss again.
- Spread the beans on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
Cooking
- Roast for 15–20 minutes, watching for slightly browned edges.
- Serve warm as a side dish.
Notes
If you like a little heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes before roasting. You can also swap olive oil for melted butter.
