Preparation

- In a large bowl, combine the baked beans, cooked bacon, sautéed onion, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Stir until thoroughly mixed.
Cooking
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Use precooked bacon to save time. If beans thickened too much, add a splash of water or broth. Consider adding jalapeños for heat or bell peppers for color.
