Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven and bake the vanilla cake mix according to the package instructions. Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl using your hands until it becomes tiny bits.
  3. Add the frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until everything is combined, achieving a moist but moldable texture.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Insert a lollipop stick into each ball, ensuring it is secure, then place the pops in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
Dipping
  1. Melt the candy according to package instructions.
  2. Dip each chilled cake pop into the melted candy, fully coating them, then let the excess drip off.
  3. Sprinkle with colorful sprinkles if desired.
Setting
  1. Place the cake pops upright in a styrofoam block or a cake pop stand to harden.

Notes
