Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries Choose ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter Use a natural brand without added sugars.
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Look for high-quality chocolate chips.
  • 1 pinch salt flakes Optional, enhances the sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Lay a sheet of parchment paper onto a rimmed baking sheet and set aside.
  2. Rinse strawberries, remove stems, and slice them into thin pieces.
  3. Lay out strawberry slices in a rectangle on the prepared baking sheet.
Melting Peanut Butter
  1. In a medium bowl, microwave the peanut butter for 20 seconds, then stir.
  2. Microwave again for another 20 seconds until melted and runny.
Assembling the Bark
  1. Pour the melted peanut butter over the strawberry slices, spreading it evenly.
  2. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for approximately 20 minutes to set the peanut butter.
Melting Chocolate
  1. In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  2. Remove the baking sheet from the freezer and pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer, spreading it out evenly.
  3. If desired, sprinkle salt flakes on top for extra flavor.
Setting and Serving
  1. Return the baking sheet to the freezer for about 1 hour, allowing the bark to fully set.
  2. Once set, use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut the bark into desired sizes.
  3. Lift pieces with a spatula and store in small bags, then place in a larger freezer bag for storage.

Notes

Ensure the bark is fully chilled to avoid a messy break when cutting. You can customize the recipe by adding nuts or swapping chocolate types.
