Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 12 pieces Fresh strawberries Use ripe, juicy strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 8 ounces White chocolate Good quality white chocolate melts smoothly.
  • 2 tablespoons Matcha powder Matcha gives a lovely color and subtle bitterness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Melt the white chocolate: Heat the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler for gentle melting.
  2. Dip the strawberries: Hold each strawberry by its green leaves and dip it into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s well coated.
  3. Add the matcha: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle matcha powder generously over the strawberries for that lovely finishing touch.
  4. Transfer to a baking sheet: Carefully set the strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, allowing any extra chocolate to drip off.
  5. Let them cool: Allow the strawberries to cool at room temperature until the chocolate hardens—about 10-15 minutes.
  6. Enjoy: Once the chocolate is firm, they’re ready to be devoured!

Notes

Melt the chocolate in the microwave for a quick approach. Avoid overheating chocolate to prevent it from seizing. For a twist, mix crushed pistachios with matcha for added crunch.
