Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine fresh lime juice with low-sodium soy sauce, whisk until well blended.
  2. Gradually whisk in extra virgin olive oil until emulsified and smooth.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, honey (or agave syrup), chili powder, ground cumin, and paprika until well combined.
  4. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
  5. In a resealable bag, place your protein of choice and pour the marinade over it, ensuring everything is well-coated.
  6. Let it marinate in the fridge for at least 15-20 minutes.
  7. Cook the marinated ingredients by grilling, baking, or stir-frying according to your preference.

Make-ahead friendly! Store leftover marinade in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Bring ingredients to room temperature for even cooking.
