  • 1/4 cup strong coffee or cold brew Wake up your taste buds!
  • 1/2 cup almond milk Creamy and dairy-free
  • 1/4 cup plain or vanilla protein powder For that protein-packed goodness
  • 1 large frozen banana Sweetness and thickness combined
  • 2 tablespoons creamy almond butter Nutty, smooth perfection
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract A touch of warmth and sweetness

Preparation
  1. Grab your high-powered blender and toss in all of the ingredients: banana, almond butter, coffee, almond milk, protein powder, and vanilla extract.
  2. Blend the mixture until smooth. Stop halfway to scrape down the sides and stir if necessary.
  3. If a thinner consistency is desired, add a splash more almond milk and blend again.

Notes

You can prepare the smoothie the night before and store it in a sealed jar in the fridge. Give it a shake before drinking. If it's too thick, add more almond milk. For a chocolate flavor, consider adding cocoa powder or dark chocolate protein powder.
