Ingredients

For the Mocktail
  • 0.5 cup Mango fresh or frozen Use ripe, sweet mango for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoon Water To blend with mango.
  • 1 Lime quartered Releases juices for flavor.
  • 6 Mint leaves Clap the leaves to release aromatic oils.
  • 1 cup Soda water or alternative Can substitute with tonic water or lemon-lime soda.
  • Extra mint and lime for garnish For presentation.

Method

Preparation
  1. Muddle the lime pieces in a glass or pitcher to release their juices.
  2. Clap the mint leaves together in your hands until the delightful scent is released. Add them to the muddled lime and press gently with a muddler.
  3. In a small blender, blend the mango and water until smooth to create a mango puree.
  4. Add the mango puree to the lime and mint mixture, and stir gently to combine.
  5. Fill your glass with ice, then top it off with sparkling water (or your favorite alternative) and give it a gentle stir.
  6. Garnish with additional mint leaves and a lime wheel for an extra pop of color!

Notes

Store the mango puree and muddled mixture in the fridge for up to a day. Add soda and ice just before serving. Chill glasses in the freezer for a refreshing experience. Feel free to double the recipe.
